Fall in love with less

The secret of happiness and peace is enjoying less.
I started this blog to document my thoughts, practices to develop habits follow minimalism, simplify my life and share my work with others.
I follow minimalists Leo Babuta, Joshua Becker and Joshua Fields Millburn & Ryan Nicodemus.
I am not alone. Others are also following minimalism and simplicity. This movement is growing every day. Minimalism is not living with only 99 things. Minimalism is actually freedom from stress, jealousy, competition, negativity and being better every moment. Minimalism is getting rid of credit cards, debt, stuffs, cluttered life, and living below your means.
Minimalism is doing what you want to do, getting more time for yourself, being with inner yourself.
It is almost two years practicing for being better and I am happy that it started reflecting in my life. I think Minimalism & Simplicity is one of the best gift I have given myself.
Here, I will share you 4 most important things to simplify your life. These are based on my personal journey and observations…
Work
Expectation
Debt
Goals
Work
Working less could solve all our problems. Our biggest challenges are stress and uncertainty. Working less could reduce stress — countless studies have shown that people who work less are more satisfied with their lives.
Why are we working so much? Working less can increase our productivity. Working less provides the bandwidth for other things that are also important to us, like family, community involvement and recreation.
In notable experiments by Henry Ford and W.K. Kellogg, found that productivity and long work hours do not go hand in hand. In the 1980s, Apple employees sported T-shirts that read, “Working 90 hours a week and loving it!” Later, productivity experts calculated that if they had worked half the hours, the world might have enjoyed the ground-breaking Macintosh computer a year earlier.
Expectation
No expectations, no disappointments.
We blame people daily countless times. They give us stress. Our heart rate goes up and we feel frustration, hurt, and irritation.
We cannot control others. External situation will come and go. We cannot be rude or disappointed. But, we can change our thoughts and feelings. What about if we would not expect nothing from others. Here, please notice, nothing means nothing.
Debt
I have one loan for home. I will pay off it completely on August 2018 and I will be debt free! I have cut off all my expenses and paying more than 50% of my income to home loan from last two years. I was struggling before that because I did not have permanent income.
It is not easy. My family sacrifice for it. It also needs determination and frugality. The Feeling of being debt free is wonderful and I already started enjoying it. But I need to be careful also. I am continuing willingness to live frugal.
Goal
We must have Goals. It is deeply ingrained in our mind. Let’ us think that having no Goals or resolutions. We set big goals for the year and then sub goals for month and week. We work hard to achieve them, but most of the time we never.
You don’t have goals does not mean you don’t do anything. You can still create, produce and follow your passion. How? Love what you do or do what you love. If you love your passion, your work, you will be disciplined. You will enjoy doing it and you will create more, a lot.
You can find your path.
And Finally
Simple doesn’t mean boring.
